Many of the online article directory sites have trouble with the incredible onslaught of online articles coming in each and every day. So many articles that it is hard for the system not to overload and of course, this can cause problems because the online article submission site must go through all the articles and make sure they are not press-releases or spammy type articles. It’s a serious problem especially if the online article submission site is understaffed or is having problems financially.
Often, rather than work harder to process all these online articles that come in like a Tsunami, many of these sites have chosen to delay the posting of these articles until they have a chance to look at them. By doing this spammy article writers realize that their articles most likely will not be posted, so they are more apt to stop submitting. This means fewer “Bad” and unwanted articles coming in, thus, decreasing the onslaught of articles submitted to the directory and indeed, the amount of time to process the total number of submitted articles.
This policy of waiting days to post the articles submitting also has a chilling factor on those who are legitimate and submit articles, causing them to post fewer articles at the site and seek other competing sites. In doing this however, it does solve a huge problem because there are then fewer articles coming in; Good or Bad. And that means less work to do in sifting through the articles submitted.
Does this mean that spammy article writers have ruined it for everyone and the online article submission sites trying to shore up these issues have curtailed the progress of online article writing in this venue? I would submit to you that the answer is yes and an adversarial relationship has been created and is suppressing the quality and quantity of the online articles. Think on this.
