For a long time we have used the video store as one of our main ways to access movies. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Let’s look at what you might find to watch using a movie download site.
Jupiter’s Thigh: Blah continuation to Beloved Investigator, with sleuth Girardot and professor Noiret becoming engaged in fascinate when honeymooning in Greece. Cast includes Annie Girardot, Philippe Noiret, Frances Perrin, and Catherine Alric. (90 minutes, 1979)
The Thief of Bagdad: Fairbanks is unusually ballistic and ingratiating as ever in this dull Arabian Days pantomime, laid out to inject a real sense of marvel. Relatively long, however by no means boring; one of the most imaginative of all quiet films, with incredible sets by William Cameron Menzies. Cast includes Douglas Fairbanks, Julanne Johnston, Anna Might Wong, Sojin, Snitz Edwards, Charles Belcher, and Brandon Hurst. (155 minutes, 1924)
The Mark of the Hawk: Abnormal story intelligently performed, set in modern-day Africa, with tranquil vs. vicious means for racial evenness the prime topic. Cast includes Eartha Kitt, Sidney Poitier, Juano Hernandez, and John McIntire. (83 minutes, 1957)
The Rookie: Jim Morris never made it to the major leagues. Eventually a shoulder injury ended his career 12 long years ago. Now coaching a high school team, his team makes a deal with him. If they win the district championships, he tries out for the majors again. They win, and now Jim is forced to live up to his end of the bargain and give it another shot.
300: 300 tells the epic tale of the Battle of Thempylae. The Persians have come by the thousands to take over Greece. When asked to simply give up, and receive power and riches, the Spartan leader refuses the offer. Instead, he and 300 of his best men stood against the whole of Xerxes army, and kill thousands before finally being overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of the attackers.
The Agony and the Ecstasy: Large spectacle of Michelangelo’s creative clashes with Pope Julius II has satisfactory performing overshadowed by methodical production. Short documentary on performer’s work antecedes fractional tirade based on tads of Irving Rock’s novel. Cast includes Charlton Heston, Rex Harrison, Diane Cilento, Harry Andrews, and Adolfo Celio. (140 minutes, 1965)
From the earth to The Moon: Jules Verne’s fiction doesn’t hover well in contrived sci-fi of early rocket flight to the moon. War horse cast looks most agitated. Cast includes Joseph Cotten, George Sanders, Debra Paget, Don Dubbins, Patric Knowles, and Henry Daniel. (100 minutes, 1958)
Austin Powers: International Mystery: 1960′s secret agent is being brought out of cryogenics now to battle his nemesis, Dr. Evil. Dr. Evil, was also brought into the 90′s through cryogenics, and with a stolen nuclear weapon is threatening the world. The battle is on, as Austin must save the world from Dr. Evil.
Star Trek: Generations: A strange astronomical occurrence has brought two famous captains of the enterprise into the same time and space. Picard and Kirk must work together to destroy an alien who is demolishing civilizations.

One of the most entertaining spectacles on television can be found every week on the Food Network. The concept of the program sounds like a twisted dream”prominent chefs from all over the world go head to head in competitions more suited for All Japan Pro Wrestling. Thats exactly the premise of Iron Chef, which is hands down the most compelling cooking show on television. Even non-gourmands will enjoy the fast paced competition and the near incomprehensibility of the show.
The story behind the show goes something like this”theres this rich dude, MC Kaga who summons the finest chefs in Japan to do battle in his kitchen stadium. Needless to say, a TV studio wouldnt suffice for such a production: the kitchen stadium is in Kagas castle. Also in residence are three Iron Chefs, each representing a different type of cuisine (Chinese, French and Japanese). The summoned culinary challenger picks which Iron Chef he wants to take a crack at and the contest begins. The show was originally created by the Fuji TV network in the Japan, and the original Japanese title translates literally to The Iron Men of Cooking.
But wait, theres more”the chefs just dont pull out the best dishes from their repertoire. Theres a catch to the contest, and thats the fact that every dish must contain the theme ingredient which is kept a mystery until immediately before the contest begins. At that time, Kaga brings forth a heaping helping of whatever the current mystery ingredient is in a production of smoke and pyrotechnics straight out of a KISS concert. Sometimes the ingredient is something basic like tofu or apples, but it can also be something obscure like ox tail or some obscure shellfish.
The chefs then have an hour to prepare a seven-course meal to be served to a panel of what I presume to be mid-level Japanese celebrities. They rate and discuss each participants offering and pick a winner. At the end of the show with much fan fare Kaga reveals the winner. Its a great honor to beat one of the Iron Chefs, though its no easy feat.
The announcing is what makes the show. Theres a hysterical play by play announcer, an excitable color commentator, and an even more hyperactive sideline correspondent who will break in the commentary frequently with revelations such as observing that a chef is using fresh ginger in a dish or some similar piece of trivia. Apparently one of the announcers is a legit sumo wrestling announcer in Japan, making the strange connection between ‘Iron Chef’ and Japanese pro wrestling even more pronounced.
The dishes that are presented are always amazing and creative. Sometimes they might not be the most appetizing creations, but that’s to be expected when you have to make a desert with something like pickled carp as a theme ingredient. The creative process and the competition is what makes the show a must watch.
The Food Network has recently begun production of a native grown version called ‘Iron Chef America’. It has a similar format, but really loses a lot from the inscrutable original.

NCR form printing has taken a noteworthy place in the every day functioning of most of the business houses. This is due to its helpful attributes including the environmental friendly nature. NCR forms printing are reasonably priced and can be used in most of the areas of a business organization in producing top quality duplicates essential in business.
NCR forms are used for creation of invoices, purchase memos and statement slips that are given in writing. Previously, this was done with a carbon paper, which was useless after a certain period of use and formed environmental hazards. The carbon less method of NCR forms has the least amount chance of waste. The wastage in this method is considerably low and they use recyclable papers in the forms.
Big business houses are creating thousands of invoices daily along with other duplicate papers for their use. The use of this bright technique has allowed companies to do away with carbon papers. The expertise that is used in NCR forms printing is very simple.
The demand of this special type of printing has reached high scale as majority of the companies both big and small has incorporated this system in their day to day communication work. Recently, the NCR forms printing are being used in printing of official requirements through inkjet or laser printers though the technology was originally created for hand scripting. Business houses are finding this utility tool pretty efficient in performing the task of duplication.
This new initiative takes help of a kind of micro dye in the reverse side of the front page, which under force leaves a score on the next page. The dye is micro in nature and hence creates scores or scripts accordingly in an accurate manner. This helps in keeping the quality of precision in copying with no any blotches at all.
NCR is the abridged form of “No Carbon Required”, which has developed its quality to qualify for the general use by majority of companies to ease the daily work process and ultimately results in business gain. A reputed printing company can take up the job of NCR forms printing to satisfy customers so that they can use it for their financial benefit keeping the environment clean.

Nicaraguan boxing legend Alexis Arguello was found dead of an apparent suicide in his home in early July. At the time of his death, he served as mayor of Nicaragua’s capital city.
Arguello is best known to fight fans for his epic battle in 1982 with Aaron The Hawk Pryor when he moved up in weight after dominating at lighter weight classes. Though Arguello would lose via 14th round knockout (amid some controversy due to an apparent mystery drink offered to Pryor by his trainer Panama Lewis) it was a thrilling toe to toe battle that even the most knowledgeable boxing experts remember fondly to this day. Promoter Bob Arum offered these thoughts on Pryor/Arguello:
“It was a brutal, brutal fight. That was something I will never, ever forget as long as I live. That was one of the most memorable fights I ever did.”
While the first Pryor fight may have brought him the most mainstream notoriety, boxing cognoscenti are aware that Arguello is arguably the best lightweight and junior lightweight in the history of the sport. Arguello never lost a fight at 130 pounds and would end his career with an astounding 82-8 record with 65 knockouts and championships in three different weight classes. At the time, he was only the sixth man in boxing history to hold title belts at three different weights.
Ironically, Arguellos career didnt get off to a good start and he lost his debut in 1968 via first round TKO. After that, he seldom lost again. He was at his best against his toughest adversaries including Ray Mancini, Bobby Chacon and Ruben Olivares. Bob Arum remembered him not only as a great fighter, but as a great man:
“Not only was he one of the greatest fighters I’ve ever seen, he was the most intelligent fighter. He was a ring tactician. Every move was thought out. And he was a wonderful, wonderful person.”
The articulate, intelligent Arguello was also a quote machine on the fight game and how champions should conduct themselves. Here, he speaks of his attitude toward his opponents:
Of course after the fight you want to make sure that youre okay and so is the other guy, its a brotherhood in there, so you want to make sure everyone is okay after the war is over.
Arguello didnt fight for his first title until hed had 58 fights, and would frequently admonish boxers who didnt show the same respect for the sport or their status as champion:
When you won that title you should know now that you are representing a whole country or nation with your actions and you are now in a glass house or under a microscope and you better be ready to make your people proud.
Arguello loved boxing and fought to protect it from those who would undermine its greatness:
I respect boxing because it has given me so much and thats why I will never allow anyone to mistreat the sport of boxing if I can help it.
While the modest Arguello would never say it himself, that was for from a one sided debt and he contributed more than his fair share to the sport of boxing with his grace, intelligence, talent and toughness.

Just use these hints and youll increase your reading speed:
You can read lines of text, more easily, by reading groups of words at one time than reading a single word, and your reading speed increases when you just widen your eye span (peripheral vision).
1. Methods will teach you have to activatee hand-to-eye coordination, then youll be speed reading quickly and immediately. Improve your reading abilities for business or personal use with just a little practice. You can double, even triple your current rates of reading without hurting comprehension or retention.
Different speed reading techniques for different kinds of reading material:
1. Fiction, especially the romance novels. Try speed reading a hot and passionate love scene. You cant! I dont speed read romance novels. I dont know anyone who does.
2. Non-Fiction. Speed reading is perfect in this dimension. Where there is something to learn that is not based on the emotions speed reading is great. And it comes in various forms: newspapers with narrow columns, magazines, with slightly wider columns, books, computer screens, and in the mail and email.
Slow readers struggle. They cant identify the techniques to success and they struggle due to slowing down to identify words that dont understand — they will see a particular word, slow down, think about its meaning, then restart the reading process. Perhaps they wont sound out all of the words theyve been reading, but they will spend more time on some phrases than others. Thats because, they are just skimming across those small sections that are easy to understand.
Creating equality in comprehension and reading speed is what gives us our base reading speed. You will also need to establish a base-line reading speed for what you read the most. There are different techniques for different types of reading, with varying speeds, and comprehension rates.
Study speed reading, and practice doing the exercises, they will improve your reading speed drastically with practice. But, before you begin practicing the speed reading techniques, which youll learn in the Complete Speed Reading Program, let me suggest that you learn to coordinate your eye-to-pacing finger movement.
In the beginning suggest you reread the same material over and over, until you develop a well-coordinated reading speed. When you feel comfortable with it, your rate of speed will improve almost immediately almost 50%. Then, once you are comfortable practicing at that rate, move on to more advanced techniques that will increase your reading speed further.
Take in mind:
1. You will be reading faster (scan read) pre-reading for important facts 300%.
2. You should use a 50% over normal rate when reading for information saturation.
3. Post-read for fast review will be fast reading; just a fast scan. 300-400% faster.
4. For testing, scan before prepare for tests your score speed will be medium fast 200%.
Thats how easy it will be. Your mind will be trained to be the perfect learning machine. Just begin right now with Complete Speed Reading Course, a beginner course, and intense in-depth program, and audio reinforcement. Guaranteed to bring you greater success.
Mail this postDesign Considerations To Keep In Mind When Going For Paper Bag Printing
August 11, 2009 by Carlo Green
Following the trend of increased consciousness for conservation of environment, most firms these days use paper bags to sell their products at retail stores. These bags don’t disturb the ecology and can be produced and printed at much lower costs than alternative products.
Paper bag printing is a creative art by itself, and several printing services firms across the globe have acquired expertise in it and are now surpassing customers’ expectations. Previously, these bags were devoid of design and were often brown bags used by mainly grocers. However, nowadays, they have become something that is both elegant and durable.
There are many essential design factors that need to be focused on when going for paper bag printing. You have to consider what purpose the paper bag will serve and then select an appropriate quality of paper that will be able to successfully satisfy that objective.
Once the type of paper has been chosen, you have to select the colours that will be used for the graphic to be printed on the bag. You have to get the right colour mix for the paper bag so that it appeals to the customers and aids in effective brand promotion. If the colours are not pleasant to the eye then the users could react negatively.
The third important component of design is to ensure both the beauty and usefulness of the bag. Every design aspect of a paper bag, from size to shape, must depend on two essential factors – the kind of customers who will be making use of the bag and type of products that will be carried in it. For instance, inexpensive yet attractive rope handles can be attached to bags meant for carrying a new pair of shoes, as that will help in easy carriage of the bag and its contents by the user.
As the bags themselves are quite inexpensive, their designs must also be cheap, but you should ensure quality at the same time. Moreover, everything used during the paper bag printing process should be eco friendly, otherwise the entire appeal will be lost.
Finally, you have to carefully and strategically consider what kind of message you would wish the paper bag to display. Most printing services firms realize its significance and so they will be able to provide valuable advice in this regard. But the company logo should always be present with the message, and the message on its part must be in tune with the company’s brand image.
Mail this postPeruvian Camu Camu Juice

Camu Camu is a bush that grows in Peru. It is a relative of the Guavaberry or Rumberry. Camu Camu (Mycaria dubia) grows in black water rivers, especially in those abandoned courses called “cochas”, ecosystems of social and economic importance to the Amazon jungles of Peru. This plant produces a fruit that is named, respectively, Camu Camu.
The Camu Camu fruit has powerful phytochemicals which contain several of health benefits for the human body. This fruit contains amino acids serine, valine, leucine, and more vitamin C than any known fruit that can be found on planet earth. Vitamin C is a vital vitamin that we need on a daily basis. This vitamin strengthens our immune system. Often when we are sick is because we have a lack of vitamin c. When we are sick, if we drink a lot of juices that contain vitamin C we can recuperate much faster from a flu. People that take a lot of vitamin C rarely catch colds because of the power this vitamin gives to the body. This vitamin can be found in Camu Camu juice. As we have said before, Camu Camu contains the most vitamin C of any other fruit. This is why Camu Camu juice can be considered a very powerful health supplement.
Camu Camu fruit has been longed use by the people of the Amazonian rain forest to help maintain their health in the best of shapes. Often when we think of vitamin C we think of oranges because they are an excellent source of vitamin c because oranges do contain a lot of vitamin c. However Camu Camu fruit contains 30 to 60 times more vitamin C than an orange! This is pretty amazing for a small fruit that grows in the Amazonian forest. The fact that this fruit contains so much vitamin C and other very healthy supplements has made it very popular. Camu Camu juice helps strengthen the immune system, maintain healthy gums, healthy eyes, and healthy skin. It supports the functions that are carried out by both the nervous system and the circulatory system. This juice is very healthy and will benefit anyone who drinks it on a daily basis.
Camu Camu juice is very healthy and has become something that more people, other than the Amazonian forest residents of Peru, drink. It can help your body very much. In fact, it is not a bad idea to add Camu Camu juice as part of your diet. It can help lengthen your life and help you live a healthy life. It just contains too many nutrients, to be overlooked. It is the best source that can be used to obtain all of the vitamin C we need in a day.
Camu Camu is used mainly for its edible fruits, having a unique aroma and fruit pigmentation. Camu Camu is the highest natural source of vitamin C in the world. These fruits contain more vitamin C than any other plant in the world, from 40-50 times more than an orange (about two grams of vitamin C per 100 grams of fruit). Camu Camu is also a significant source of potassium, providing 711mg per kg of fruit. Seedlings from this shrub are available free of charge from the Peruvian government to communities of native people who are rainforest dwellers. They plant and tend the shrubs through harvest, thus contributing to rainforest economy.
Camu Camu juice may be blended with other fruits, producing a unique mixture of antioxidant-rich fruit juice. Camu Camu is considered by some as one of the most potent plants with medicinal properties that fight the herpes virus. This juice may also be taken on a daily basis to provide highly effective support for the body’s immune system, thus fighting the herpes virus when it is lies dormant in the body.
In the culinary world, Camu Camu is also used to make marmalade and flavor for candy or desserts. Camu Camu berries have a red or purple skin, white flesh, and large seeds. Camu Camu berries are easy to cultivate, and the Camu Camu tree will grow in tropical climates. Camu Camu berries will begin growing when the tree is between 4 and 6 years old, and they appear once each year.
Despite having a wide array of health benefits, Camu Camu is virtually unknown in North America and other countries outside of Brazil and Peru. The health benefits of Camu Camu as a traditional herbal remedy for any condition has not been documented in the Amazon region. Only recently have the health benefits of Camu Camu become more widely recognized. Camu Camu is coming into large scale cultivation and distribution to the world markets. Japan consumes the most Camu Camu fruit of any country.
Nationally known nutritionist, Gary Null, Ph.D., author of many botanical books ranked Camu Camu in the top 5 herbs with the greatest effectiveness for treating various health effects such as atherosclerosis, painkiller, osteoarthritis, hepatitis, asthma, colds, cataracts, mood balancing and depression. Camu Camu is also known to reduce inflammation and support collagen, tendons, and ligaments; improve respiratory health, and maintain mental clarity at times of stress.
Mail this postAirsoft Guns: Making The Right Selection
August 10, 2009 by Anthony Carter

People use airsoft guns for many reasons and activities. For instance, some people shoot cans in their backyard, some hold airsoft wars against friends, and others join teams to participate in organized combat simulations. The purpose of your airsoft gun should be an important factor when purchasing one.
Speed and versatility are not necessary airsoft gun characteristics when simply shooting targets (also known as “plinking”). In fact, a cheap, low maintenance spring pistol will do just fine for this type of activity. You can get away with buying a pistol based on how attractive you find it when you’re not using it for anything other than plinking.
Spring shotguns and automatic electric guns are good airsoft guns for activities like backyard wars because they both have high rates of fire. Spring shotguns will release pellets as fast as you can pump the gun and are relatively inexpensive.
The automatic electric gun (AEG) has an even faster firing rate than the shotgun and is relatively more expensive. The rounds per minute (RPM) of AEGs are comparable to those of actual assault rifles and can accommodate sniping as well as rapid fire. Aside from the actual gun being more expensive than other models, it can be costly using AEGs as you go through far more pellets in an average session.
If you want a high firing rate but it’s not in your budget to buy an automatic electric gun, you can always go for the lower end LPEG (low-powered electric gun). This much cheaper airsoft gun still has a high firing rate; however it doesn’t have the same feet per second (FPS) rates as AEGs do.
It’s going to cost you a lot more money to join an airsoft team than if you are to hold friendly backyard battles. This is because performance relies pretty heavily on the quality of the airsoft gun being used, warranting team players to invest in the best equipment and accessories for their position. Airsoft teams consist of snipers, riflemen, grenadiers, and support shooters, all of which require different equipment. High capacity AEGs are the airsoft gun of choice for those in riflemen positions while those who prefer sniping generally have high precision sniper rifles with an FPS of 400 feet or more plus the optics needed for distance shooting.
If you want to be a support gunner, you can decide on a machine gun or an AEG with a box magazine to hold more pellets, which is the cheaper of the two. The AEG is a good choice for grenadiers as well, though this position also requires a grenade launcher and lots of grenades. The equipment needed for both support gunning and grenadier positions are more expensive than sniping or being a rifleman. In any case, all positions would benefit from having a gas pistol on them as well.
Airsoft guns are not one of those one-size-fits-all products. Regardless of what you want an airsoft gun for, you need to be prepared in order to make a cost effective purchase.
Mail this postThe Legacy Of NASCAR Pioneer Lee Petty

Although he’s now better known as ‘Richard Petty’s dad’, Lee Petty had a very successful career behind the wheel himself. More significantly, he played an important role in the development and growth not only of his own family business but of NASCAR racing as a whole. Petty Enterprises has now owned race teams for over four generations and Richard Petty–aka “The King” is considered the greatest driver in stock car racing history.
Lee Petty was one of the first to take a businesslike approach to the sport of stock car race in an era when many teams and drivers still supplemented their income via bootlegging and running moonshine. He raced in the very first NASCAR stock car race ever on June 19th, 1949. Among his many firsts in the sport is the dubious distinction of bringing out the first caution flag in NASCAR history. To chronicle his achievements in the sport in a nutshell, he won 50 Cup races, including the first one ever on a paved track. He also caused his share of trouble and was never afraid to mix it up. He once hit Curtis Turner over the head with a wrench after a race, and another time got into a fistfight during the pre race festivities. Lees two sons quickly joined the skirmish but the fight was ended by Mrs. Petty (Richards grandmother) swinging her purse”made heavier than the typical pocketbook by the .44 handgun she carried inside.
His greatest accomplishments on the track were three NASCAR championship victories. He also brought his son, Richard, into the ‘family business’ and after a rocky start in his first season the Petty offspring would go on to win 200 NASCAR races. That mark may never be broken and earned Richard Petty the sobriquet of ‘The King’.
Lees career was cut short by a nasty accident at the 1961 Daytona 500, where his car hit a guard rail and flipped a few times. Lee suffered a number of broken bones and internal injuries. He raced a few more times, but hung it up for good in 1964. He remained involved in the Petty Engineering team for awhile, but soon figured it was in good hands with Richard and Maurice running the show. Never a publicity seeker, he lived out the rest of his life enjoying the fruits of his labor. An avid golfer, he played frequently until a few months before his death in 2000 at age 86.
Lee has a few entries in the NASCAR record books that might never be touched. He finished in the top five 231 times out of 427 races, and still holds the mark for best average finish for a full time driver at 7.6th place. Considering the times in which Lee raced”before big money sponsorships, against drivers who ran moonshine for a living, and on dirt tracks that werent always in the best of shape”that average finish mark is even more impressive and is a testimony to the toughness, dedication and courage of Lee Petty.
Mail this post10 Ways to Reduce Waste in the City
Waste can be anything from physical objects that become litter on the ground to chemicals and other environmental pollutants. Many people want to be able to reduce the amount of waste or waste management they contribute to their city, but it can be hard to know where to start.
Here are 10 ways people can make a difference without even going too far out of their way:
1. Recycle. Local recycling centers all have bins that can be purchased to separate recyclables from the trash. Most cities also offer a pick-up service either weekly or bi-weekly. 2. Reuse. Another of the three ‘R’s, reusing as many things as possible seriously puts a dent in the amount of trash that goes out. Did the queen size sheet get torn? It doesn’t need to be thrown out because there are lots of people who could make use of the fabric. Same applies for broken down electronics and furniture.
3. Drink water. A filter for the refrigerator is a great way to prevent a plastic bottle build up in the trash can and keeps people healthy too. 4. Volunteer. There are many highways that need to be cleaned up and anyone can volunteer to do it. If that seems overwhelming, even just picking up one piece of trash from the ground a day can make a difference over time.
5. Keep a cup. Refills are available at a lot of gas stations and food places. Many will sell special cups that are able to be washed and will offer a discount on the price of a drink when refilling that cup. 6. Avoid over-packaging. Besides asking for paper instead of plastic, people should also consider the packaging on the things they buy. Single wrapped bread, bulk items, and reusable container products all reduce potential waste
7. Cook. Cooking in the home means fewer wrappers, packages, and other pre-made food waste. It also gives the opportunity to make healthier meals and create smaller portions. 8. Careful shopping. Some products want people to pay more because they will last a lot longer. Despite the higher prices, that’s a good reason for people to make the extra investment. It will save the environment and even a wallet to buy a product once and have it last for ten years than buy a product for a third of the price and throw it out every year.
9. Buy an upgradable computer. Technology is always advancing and city dumps are filled with leftover computer parts. Most computers can be upgraded so rather than buy a new one to keep up with the times a person can simply buy new parts to install. Computer stores and shops can help with this process.
10. Go hybrid. There are many models of hybrid cars now and all of them cut down on the amount of gas a person needs to use. It’s a great option for those who can afford it and some people may even be eligible for a tax break when the make the purchase.
