Hypertension is a silent killer because it doesn’t present any symptom, you don’t feel it, but it have serious consequences that can kill you like heart attack, stroke and embolism.
Can I cure High Blood Pressure with medication?
No, pills can’t cure hypertension because they work against your body and have terrible side effects and pills can’t protect you against some high blood pressure consequences like heart attack.
How can I cure High Blood Pressure Naturally?
There are two basic things you have to change in your daily life to cure hypertension, but don’t worry the changes are minor, you just have to make this changes part of your lifestyle.

High Blood Pressure or hypertension has become one of the major problems of today’s society. For males, a reading of 120/80 is normal while females should have a slightly lower number.
When too much energy is being exerted by the heart in order to pump blood through the arteries, this is called hypertension or high blood pressure. The top number of 120 represents the systolic pressure. This is the amount of pressure in the arteries when the heart is in mid contraction. The bottom number of 80 is the diastolic pressure. This is the amount of pressure in the arteries while the heart is in rest.
The diastolic is usually considered the most important; as this is the pressure the arteries are under when at rest. In a person with high blood pressure, the heart has to pump the blood through the circulatory system with greater force, resulting in added strain on the entire cardiovascular system.
The exact cause of hypertension remains somewhat of a mystery. A few factors that contribute to high blood pressure include genetic predisposition, obesity, poor diet, high cholesterol, cigarette smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, lack of stress management, excessive use of stimulants, drug abuse and high sodium intake. Another postulated cause of hypertension is narrowing of the blood vessels due to cholesterol and other fatty molecules. Other research indicates saturated fats, such as those found in red meat and butter are also factors. Further speculation holds that the true causes of heart disease and high blood pressure have more to do with unnatural fats such as margarine and heat-modified oils than to any naturally occurring food fat or oil.
Unfortunately, no research has yet been conducted on the affects of refined unsaturated oils verses unrefined cold pressed unsaturated oils. Refined oils are of a greater risk as they change during the high temperature of processing. In addition, hydrogenated oils like margarine are extremely bad for the body as they interfere with the body’s fatty acid metabolism. High blood pressure is the number one sign of fatty acid deficiency.
High blood pressure is known as the “silent killer” because it does not display any signs or symptoms until it is in its advanced stage. By this time, it has already wreaked havoc on the body’s other organs causing irreversible and permanent damage.
Symptoms of advanced hypertension include dizziness, eye problems, rapid pulse, headache, nose bleeds, nervousness, irritability, insomnia and energy loss. More advanced cases will exhibit symptoms such as hypertensive heart disease with enlarged heart and possible left ventricular failure, myocardial infarction, possible senility, cerebral hemorrhage, paralysis and death.
A person with high blood pressure should be closely monitored by a physician and be checked at least every six months. Prolonged high blood pressure can result in damage to the kidneys with secondary conditions surfacing, such as end-stage renal failure, which requires weekly dialysis (blood filtering) treatments.

Hypertension has been described as the ‘silent killer’ by many as there is often no warning that you even have it. But before addressing the possible natural remedies for high blood pressure, it may be first wise to say what normal blood pressure is. There is some variation between individuals as to normal blood pressure and one needs to seek medical help to ascertain whether your blood pressure is naturally high or low, but as a rule-of-thumb, for an otherwise healthy adult the target blood pressure is 115/75 although this figure may differ slightly between health departments in different countries.
The higher figure refers to the systolic rate (in this case 115) and the lower to diastolic. Diastolic refers to the pressure in the interval between heart beats and the systolic to the maximum arterial pressure during the contraction of the left ventricle of the heart. Unfortunately, if your BP (blood pressure) is 20/10 more than the target, then you have doubled your cardiovascular risk.
There are many people out there who have a natural aversion to taking drugs, particularly as they often affect other parts of the body and can lead to some unpleasant side-effects. Yes, it is accepted that you may have hypertension because of genetics, but that does not mean you can’t do something about it. Even if you take drugs, if you want extra help to allow you to stop taking them, try some natural remedies for high blood pressure. The good news is that even small drops in your BP have a significant effect and there are a few but effective natural remedies for high blood pressure to help return you to a healthy rate.
Some of the primary natural remedies for high blood pressure include watching your diet, stress/anxiety avoidance and exercise. With regard to what you eat, please seek medical advice before taking any supplements as some can interact with other medications (garlic for example may thin the blood).
Specific supplements to avoid are ephredra, Asian ginseng and rosemary essential oil as these may raise blood pressure. Those to include are Coenzyme Q10 (which is a naturally recurring substance in the body), fish oil, hawthorn, calcium, potassium, magnesium and folic acid. The DASH diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) has been promoted by several health departments worldwide and has been advocated to improve hypertension. DASH basically includes fruits and vegetables, low-fat dairy foods, beans and nuts but limits sodium.
Looking at exercise, yoga again has been suggested to have a useful effect. More particularly, engagement in some aerobic exercises such as a moderate stroll, is well known to reduce blood pressure and walking is one of the most pleasant ways to exercise if you are able.
It probably is not rocket science to learn that stress and anxiety can increase blood pressure, so you must learn to relax. Again Yoga is useful here, as is meditation (try autogenic and biofeedback training) and tai chi are good suggestions.
I hope you have found the above natural remedies for high blood pressure useful, and a good starting point to continue your pursuit of a healthy BP. Just a few lifetstyle changes are all you need to help you along the way.
